MULTIFIT MR Series Robots: How to Match a Model to Your Array Geometry
MR-G for panel rows, MR-T1 and MR-XY for other configurations, and the MR-AR cart for moving between rows: a look at the cleaning robot line-up and the logic of model selection.
A cleaning robot is selected not by catalogue looks but by array geometry: the length and width of the rows, the gaps between panels and how the rows are spread across the site. The MULTIFIT robotic line includes eight positions. Here is how they differ and how to narrow down the choice.
The MR-G series: the core line
The core MR-G series is designed for long panel rows and comes in single-row and twin-row versions: MR-G1, MR-G2, MR-G3 and the MR-G-D with a double brush. Travel speed is around 12 metres per minute; output and the daily cleaning rate are calculated by the manufacturer for each specific array.
If the plant is built as long continuous rows, selection starts with this series.
MR-T1, MR-XY and the MR-AR cart
The compact MR-T1 carries a one-metre-wide brush and is also available in the automatic MR-T1 AUT version. The MR-XY is designed for arrays up to ten metres. These models cover configurations where the larger series would be excessive, and are selected based on array geometry.
The MR-AR transport cart moves the robot between rows and eliminates manual repositioning. It is needed where rows are numerous and spread apart: one robot serves several rows without a crew of carriers.
How selection works
The manufacturer runs the numbers for each model: cleaning area per hour, daily rate and the time needed to service an array of a given size. For selection, it is enough to send your plant configuration: a row layout, panel dimensions and the type of soiling.
Delivery terms are EXW or FOB, and the company has full quotations for every model. A demonstration unit for trials is discussed separately; Teranova coordinates logistics and customs.
Catalogue and enquiry
The MULTIFIT catalogue with model photos and indicative pricing is published on the Teranova platform. Send your array parameters through the enquiry form, and we will come back with the manufacturer's calculation and a price for your plant.
