What changed in RUDIA by 2026: glutathione, niacinamide and bakuchiol
The Korean brand RUDIA, part of the DREAMCOS group, has refreshed its range. A look at the three actives, the Crown ampoules, and why the brand deliberately dropped retinol.
RUDIA is the functional care brand in the portfolio of the Korean group DREAMCOS. By 2026 the range has been refreshed: seven items remain — three 50 ml serums, three 30 ml Crown ampoules and a nourishing cream. The assortment is built around sensitive skin, and the choice of actives shows it.
The three actives of the refreshed range
Glutathione takes care of an even tone and radiance. It is an antioxidant shoppers already understand, and in Asian and Eastern European retail it needs no explaining.
Niacinamide works on the skin barrier and on texture. It is gentler than most actives and sits well in care for sensitive skin, which is why it increasingly anchors ranges where retinol used to stand.
Bakuchiol is a plant-based alternative to retinol. It is better tolerated and therefore suits shoppers for whom classic retinol is not a fit.
Why there is no retinol in the range
This is a deliberate decision by the manufacturer, not a gap in the assortment. According to the company, retinol was dropped because it increases the skin's sensitivity to sunlight and to ultraviolet in general. Bakuchiol has taken over its role in the range.
For a buyer this is not a detail. In sunny markets retinol care needs its own communication: gradual introduction, SPF during the day, advice at the shelf. A range without retinol sells more simply and generates fewer returns caused by irritation.
The Crown line: ampoules and a nourishing cream
Crown Carrot Day Vitamin — a vitamin ampoule on carrot extract with niacinamide and panthenol, for radiance.
Crown Master Benone — an ampoule on 72% hydrolysed collagen with idebenone. According to the company it works on pigmentation and post-acne marks, tones and brightens.
Crown Collagen EGF Recovery — a repairing ampoule with ten types of hydrolysed collagen and an EGF + 4GF complex.
The line closes with Crown Panthenol Nutrition Cream, a nourishing cream with panthenol.
How this works as a purchase through Teranova
Seven items make a compact set that is easier to list, test and rotate than a broad matrix. Production is contracted to the group's own plant, certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 22716 (GMP for cosmetics), which means predictable batch quality.
We do not publish wholesale terms and prices; they are provided on request. Teranova acts as a trusted broker: we coordinate contact with the manufacturer, accompany the transaction from sample request to shipment, and help with documents. Direct supplier contacts are not disclosed — that is part of how the model works.
